NEW YORK CITY, NY - The Financial Crisis Tour is a walking tour of Wall Street and downtown Manhattan, designed and guided by a former Wall Street insider. This 90-minute tour will feature the following:

• Get the inside story. Hear first hand accounts on the events of the financial crisis and how certain traders made billion dollar profits while some banks collapsed!
• Learn about the shadow banking system that the government ignored until it was too late. Gain a deeper understanding of the financial markets and recent financial innovations.
• What is it like being a Wall Street Trader? Learn about the trading culture and lifestyle.
• Discover the Financial District's rich history, architecture and trivia. Be inspired by stories of the entrepreneurs who built America's greatest banks. See the skyscraper race within the concrete jungle.
• What is a Collateralized Debt Obligations (CDO)? What is a Credit Default Swap (CDS)? And how were they able to destroy financial institutions around the world?
• What really brought down Bear Stearns, Lehman and AIG? Hear first hand accounts of their final days from an insider.

This is the only tour by a “toxic asset” trader who was at the front lines of the financial crisis. As a former Vice President at Deutsche Bank, Andrew Luan helped manage a billion dollar trading business and traded structured credit bonds, specifically CDOs, those assets blamed for destroying many financial institutions. A portion of the tour proceeds will be donated towards to help improve financial literacy.

Fox News New York says "When it comes to the financial crisis, few people may be better qualified to be leading the tour. Andrew was a derivatives trader working with the very products that many say triggered the worst financial downturn. . . Financial Crisis Tour -- a mix of history with some trivia thrown in, and a heavy dose of inside scoop."

Guardian UK says “"Luan is a true insider - he traded collateralised debt obligations, which have become obscene concepts in polite society because of their involvement in AIG's demise."

The tours are $40 per person. Free for children. We are also offering free weekly tours to benefit those that cannot afford to pay. For more information about the tours please visit www.thewallstreetexperience.com
